Personal Note: This was a tough training year – both from an intensity (primarily zone 4 heart rate) and duration (average minutes per day) stand point. There were far too few low intensity sessions and not enough recovery overall, ie overtraining. I ended this exercise year physically and mentally fatigued.
Intensity and duration will be lower next year, and rest time / recovery days will increase. My plan is to also spend more time running and less on the bike.
